I had my first experience with yoga in 2011. I attended a hot yoga class with my mom, and a sense of curiosity was sparked in me. Coming back to my mat created the feeling of returning home. It was a safe place that held me, and allowed space for transformation and healing. I knew that if I continued to show up on my mat, the power of practice would be life altering. Fast forward 5 years, I landed in Nicaragua to attend my first yoga teacher training with Mocean Yoga.
Since then, I have lead classes at studios in Vancouver ( The Dharma Temple + Distrikt Movement ) and Kelowna ( One Yoga + Solstice Yoga ). My passion is creating ways to share the practice outside of yoga studios in not-so traditional environments, like cafés, offices, and art studios. I’ve lead classes for clients such as lululemon, Vega and Hootsuite.
I am forever a student. My thirst for knowledge and growth has lead me from Vinyasa to Yin yoga teacher training, with an emphasis on hands on touch ( Feelosophy ).
My classes are fine balance between strength and softness, full of clear alignment cues, and creative and intentional sequencing. I keep it light with my playful, yet grounding energy and find a way to weave real-life lessons and ancient yoga teachings within my offering. I’m known for my bad ass playlists and for being unapologetically myself in hopes that my vulnerability inspires others to be themselves.
I am always amazed at what we can learn about ourselves by getting quiet and moving in ways to further deepen our awareness of our physical and energetic bodies, thought, patterns, and feelings.

Feelosophy @ solstice yoga
Feelosophy - a small, intimate, restorative yoga class with safe, supportive hands-on touch to help you become more connected with your body and to create a space for communities to gather and talk about touch.
Drew Hertz, along side two Feelosophy trained teachers, will lead you through a 90-minute chill yoga practice mixed with relaxing, massage-based adjustments. Each class uses introspective questions and music to set an intention, offering you space and permission to slow down and feel.
Expect good tunes, deep conversation, and all the touch you crave.
Limited spots, so register early to save your space. A small class size ensures each person gets the most attention and adjustment time.
